Emma Watt| Senior Associate
Emma was admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in March 2020.
She commenced her legal career in 2019 as a tipstaff to the Honourable Justice Price AO, the then Chief Judge of the District Court of NSW. During this time, Emma gained invaluable insight into court processes and judicial decision-making, honing her ability to anticipate likely outcomes in matters before the Court.
In April 2021, Emma joined Mitry Lawyers as part of their commercial litigation and disputes team. Since then, she has developed extensive experience across a wide range of legal areas, including commercial litigation, real property, building and construction law, franchising, defamation, and family law.
Emma has successfully acted in complex disputed matters in the Supreme Courts of New South Wales and Victoria, consistently demonstrating expertise, adaptability, and strategic acumen.
Emma approaches all matters with rigor and a sharp strategic perspective while her empathetic and compassionate nature ensures that clients feel supported throughout the litigation process.
